The 3 Metre Cube Smoke Density Apparatus measures smoke emission when cables or optical fibers are placed horizontally under defined fire conditions. This comprehensive system includes a cubic enclosure and photometric measurement system, using a specified standard fire source (ethanol 90±1%, methanol 4±1% and distilled water 6±1%).
